Prevention / Universal Services (new listing category, previously Primary Prevention)
The Nurturing Parenting® Program for Parents and Their Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers can be used by agencies providing prevention and universal parenting education and family support services. Agencies may adjust the pacing and delivery of sessions based on the needs of the families and populations they serve. The program may be delivered in group, individual/home-based, virtual, or combined settings while maintaining the program’s core content and competencies.
Early Intervention/Targeted Services (new listing category)
The 23-session Nurturing Parenting® Program for Parents and Their Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers can be used by agencies providing comprehensive or longer-term parenting and family support services. Agencies may adjust the pacing and length of sessions and provide additional individual/home-based support based on the needs of the families they serve. The program may be delivered in group, individual/home-based, virtual, or combined settings while maintaining the program’s core content and competencies.
Intensive Family Services (new listing category, previously Tertiary)
The 23-session Nurturing Parenting® Program for Parents and Their Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers can be adapted to meet the needs of families receiving more intensive services, including families involved with child welfare. Agencies may adjust the pacing, combine sessions, and provide additional individual/home-based sessions based on the needs of the families they serve, while maintaining the program’s core content and competencies.
