The Nurturing Parenting Program^® Supplement for African American Families ™

The Nurturing Parenting Program Supplement for African American Families is a series of 13 weekly lessons that address issues and challenges faced by African American parents.
 
The curriculum can be used by itself or as a supplement to other Nurturing Parenting Program curriculums.  Each individual session can also be used as a standalone lesson.
 
The supplement utilizes storytelling as a method of opening discussion among participants.
 
The 2.5 hour sessions will give each participant an opportunity to look at their own child rearing practices and the environment they are raising children in today.
