Tomeka
is a decorated family advocate in the fields of child
protection and parenting education. Born and raised
in Oak Grove, FL Tomekas professional background
includes counseling families in crisis in group settings,
and on an individual basis. She received her Bachelors
Degree at Florida State University in 1999 and completed
3-day parent Educator Training in November 2004 with
Family Nurturing Center of North Florida. She became
a Recognized Trainer Consultant in August 2005 through
Family Development Resources, Inc. and a Certified
Child Protective Services Professional in December
2006 through Mental Health Resource Center. She is
pursuing dual Masters Degrees in Marriage and Family
Counseling and Mental Health Counseling. Tomeka is
CEO and founder of BrightIdeas Consulting Inc. Tomeka
welcomes any opportunity to demonstrate compassion,
superb nurturing skills, and to efficiently draw on
six years of professional counseling experience. She
has a counseled people from all walks of life and
has the ability to connect with others on an individual
level. Tomeka loves to teach others to nurture themselves,
their children, and their spouses. Tomeka has produced
positive results with clients through the Family Nurturing
Center of Florida one-on-one and in group sessions.
