Stacy
Randell is the director of Wellspring Cape Ann Families, the family support and
education center of Wellspring House, Inc. in Gloucester, MA since March 1996.
Wellspring House is a multifaceted social justice organization begun in 1981 as
a homeless family shelter, which has grown to include education programs, affordable
housing development, public policy advocacy, and family support and education.
Wellspring Cape Ann Families has offered the 15-week Nurturing Program for Parents
and Their School-Age Children 5 to 11 since 1995. Stacy has a B.A. in Sociology
from Georgetown University and has worked with children and families, including
homeless families, teenagers, and children impacted by trauma since 1987. She
has developed numerous workshops on parenting, positive discipline, communication
skills, and healthy relationships as well as conference presentations. She believes
all people have the right to live in homes free of violence, including all forms
of corporal punishment that are commonly inflicted on children. #24
