Shelley Claeys has been impacting the lives of students
and families for many years. It is her passion to inspire
and encourage young people, as well as adults, to become
more loving, empathetic, confident individuals and families.
Shelley graduated from Bethel College in 1994, with a degree
in elementary education. Since that time she has been very
active, teaching in both public and private school systems.
She is the co-founder and director of Homegrown Hearts,
a home schooling co-op serving the LaPorte county area.
Both Shelley and her husband desire to serve youth and
parents. They have been youth leaders, counselors and summer
camp hosts.
Shelley currently works for Dunebrook, Prevent Child Abuse
as a Nurturing Parenting Facilitator. She is a Nationally
Recognized Trainer/Consultant for the Nurturing Parenting
Programs. Her favorite position is mothering her four children.
