Lynda
B. Carmouche is the Founder and Executive Director
of Grace House, Inc. Grace House is a private non-profit
corporation devoted to providing education, empowerment
and support to teen girls and their families.
Lynda is a National Trainer/Consultant in the Nurturing
Parenting Programs and a Trainer of Trainers for the
Strengthening Families Program and has been involved
in working with children, youth and families since
1996. Lynda received her Masters of Social Work Degree
from Southern University at New Orleans. She is known
for her dynamic trainings, workshops, and motivational
speeches to both professionals and consumers.
Lynda's previous experience includes child abuse/neglect
prevention, substance abuse prevention, education
and treatment, family and individual therapy for individuals
affected by abuse/neglect, skill-building for foster
and adopted youth, reunification services and training
professionals to provide effective programs to their
target population.
