John
Chacon is the Executive Director of the National Fatherhood
Initiative of Texas (NFIT) and has been a National Trainer/Consultant
in the Nurturing Parenting Programs for fifteen years. He
is husband to Yolanda, father to three precious children
and grandfather to two adorable granddaughters.
John graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso
with a major in Social Work and a minor in Military Science.
He has ten years working directly and indirectly with the
Children's Trust Fund of Texas as an independent contractor,
program administrator and Executive Director.
John has served children in foster care as a Therapeutic
Social Worker for five years with the El Paso Center for
Children.
