 I
was born in Brooklyn, New York but grew up in California.
I have been working with children for the past 24
years in such areas as a preschool teacher, a director
of after school program, worked with children at a
battered womens safe house and facilitated a lifeskills
teen group. I currently work for Youth and Family
Services of Solano county as a counselor in their
children recovery program. I also facilitate or co-facilitate
the Nurturing Programs Substance Abuse Treatment and
Recovery, Parents & Their Infants, Toddlers, &
Preschoolers , Parents and Their School-Age Children,
Parents and Adolescents, Teen Parents & Their
Children curriculums. I also promote parenting through
the parenting partnership of solano county. I am a
mother of two wonderful daughters ( Julia and Erika)
and my first grandchild (Owen).
