Matteo-Kerney is the Director of Prevention Services
at the Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services
Board, the Project Director for the Rural Virginia
Family Nurturing Project, a Nurturing Parenting Program
Trainer/Consultant, and a Contract Trainer for Prevent
Child Abuse of Virginia.
Cheryl has worked in the field of child abuse and
substance abuse prevention for 18 years. She has trained
Nurturing Parenting Program Facilitators throughout
the state of Virginia. Cheryl has also presented at
several national prevention conferences. She resides
with her husband, Darren, whimsical eight-year-old
son, Noah, and a wide array of adorable four leggeds
in Gloucester, Virginia.
