Sheryl Starbuck, MA, NCC, LPC

Sheryl began her career in the human service field working with the Prevention/Intervention Program at the middle school level. With much encouragement from co-workers, she went back to school and got her masters in community counseling and is now a licensed professional counselor.

Sheryl is currently a contractor providing support and consultations for military families all over the world. She has provided services for military families on four military bases in the United States and three overseas. She has served families in Japan for four months in the past year. Previous to this, Sheryl worked for Hilltop/Tandem Families for five years. During this time, Sheryl served as Clinical/Program Director for Tandem Families and Tri County Resource Center, supervised adoption home studies, and supervised and facilitated a two-county collaborative Nurturing Parenting Program. Sheryl also worked at Dream Catcher Therapy Center as an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist. She has been married to Harvey for thirty-nine years, and they have four grown children and two granddaughters.
